I’ve had the pleasure of reaching No. 1 on Amazon in both the USA and Europe with my Laptop Screen Shade products. It’s an incredible milestone, and one I’m truly proud of and grateful for!
It All Started with an Idea in 2013
The story began in 2013, when I came up with the idea for a product that would make it easier to work on a laptop in sunlight, reduce screen glare and help keep the laptop cooler.
The idea actually came from a very personal need. My children and my mother-in-law needed something like this when we were on holiday. And I needed one myself, too! 😍
I decided to turn my idea into reality and applied for a patent for my invention. It was the beginning of an exciting journey that taught me how much patience and persistence it takes to develop a new product and obtain a patent. The patent process can take several years, and my invention became the starting point for what is now PHILBERT Screen Shade.
From an Idea to International Success
PHILBERT Screen Shade was designed with a focus on functionality, design and the freedom to work wherever you want. The product helps reduce screen glare, improve screen contrast, provide greater privacy and shield the screen from direct sunlight.
It has been an amazing experience to see my product reach customers across international markets. The US market, in particular, has played an important role in this journey, with my Screen Shade products achieving great success on Amazon.
Now, I’m working to strengthen PHILBERT’s presence in European markets and reach even more customers.
Reaching No. 1 on Amazon doesn’t happen overnight. Behind this success are many years of hard work in product development, design, production, marketing and sales.
As an independent designer, I have been involved in every stage of the process – from the very first idea and initial samples to production, marketing and international sales.
It’s All About Believing in Your Idea
Looking back, I’m glad I had the courage to pursue my idea in 2013. It has taught me that even a small idea can grow into something much bigger if you believe in it and are willing to put in the work.
But the journey hasn’t always been easy. The market has evolved, and many competitors have entered the scene. Today, it’s all about continuing to innovate, exploring new opportunities and staying true to what makes PHILBERT unique.
I still believe in my idea and in the importance of good design that solves a real need in everyday life.
From a small idea in 2013 to No. 1 on Amazon – it has been a journey filled with learning, challenges and incredible experiences. And the journey is far from over.
