About PHILBERT

Nille Philbert grew up in a creative and inspiring family in Skårup and Svendborg, where her parents, who were also clothing designers, laid the foundation for her passion for fashion. With a background as a clothing operator and design technologist, Nille built her career in Copenhagen with a strong foundation in both craftsmanship and design. She specialized in everything from shirts and dresses to underwear and jeans, which gave her the courage to start her own business in 2005. Two years later, she launched her own brand, "Nille Philbert" which quickly gained international recognition in fashion cities such as New York and London. Despite the international success, Nille returned to her hometown of Svendborg, where she established her business and started a family.

In 2015, Nille made a bold decision and changed PHILBERT's focus from fashion to technology. Here she invented Screen Shade, a patented solution for laptops and tablets that marked the start of a new era for the company. Screen Shades quickly became a success, especially in the United States, and have since cemented PHILBERT's position as a pioneer in the combination of fashion and technology.

The introduction of the innovative solution stemmed from a simple need: When Nille was looking for a sunshade for her boys' tablet and her laptop and couldn't find any, she started designing a "sunshade" with a 4-in-1 solution : Shade - Privacy – Heat protection and contrast enhancement.

After she had the first prototype designed and saw its utility, she applied for and obtained a patent for the products no. D790551.
